Questions, answered.
How to walk the city, what each tier unlocks, how your Holder Park bot works and what's inside every building.
Getting started
7What is Playtuko?
A realtime multiplayer game you play in the browser. Nothing to install: open the page and you are on Tuko Plaza with everyone else online.
Do I need a wallet to play?
No. Choose Play as guest and you can walk every street, enter every building, visit Holder Park, play the arcade and sit at the Super Computer.
How do I move?
WASD or the arrow keys walk, Shift runs, E interacts, Q opens emotes and Enter opens chat. On a phone you get a joystick plus Chat, Emote, Music and E buttons.
Is there a quick tour?
Yes. A six-step How to play tour opens the first time you play. Replay it any time from My Wallet, under How to play.
Which wallets work?
MetaMask and Rabby. On a phone, open playtuko.xyz in your wallet app's built-in browser.
How do I pick or change my username?
When you connect a wallet, the game asks for a username: 3 to 16 letters, numbers or _. Change it any time in your profile: open My Wallet and choose Edit username, or tap the pencil on your player card. Saving asks for a free signature, and the first wallet to save a name keeps it.
What does signing do?
Saving a username, your X profile or chat balloons, and verifying for holder chat each ask your wallet for a free signature. It proves the wallet is yours. A signature is not a transaction: it moves no funds and costs no gas.
Tiers & rank
4How is my tier worked out?
From your share of the total supply, read live from Base: Holder from 0.001%, VIP from 0.05% and Whale from 0.5%.
What does each tier unlock?
Holder unlocks 7 skins, the Mint Station, holder chat, Hearts and Spin, plus your own bot in Holder Park. VIP adds the Night Shift and Ice Chrome skins and Confetti. Whale adds the Gold Block and Deep Green skins and Coin rain.
How is rank calculated?
Wallets are ranked by balance, largest first, straight from Base. Burn addresses, liquidity pools and the token contract are left out, and a wallet needs at least 0.001% of supply to count. The top 40 wallets each get a bot in Holder Park and a card on the Leaderboard.
How do I get on the podium?
Hold one of the top 3 balances. Your bot can wander off whenever you like and climbs back onto its step after 2 minutes idle.
Mounts & skins
3How do I get and change skins?
Open Skins in the tray, or walk into the Mint Station on Tuko Plaza. Guests choose Guest Unit or Guest Box, and every tier above unlocks more. Your pick shows everywhere and stays saved on this device.
How do mounts work?
Mounts unlock at bigger shares of supply: Hover Pad from 0.9%, Jetpack from 1.5% and Throne Hover from 2.2%. Unlock one and you can ride every mount below it too. Pick yours in Skins; mounts ride under any skin.
What emotes are there?
Press Q or tap Emote, then pick one or press 1 to 6. Everyone has Wave and Dance. Holder adds Hearts and Spin, VIP adds Confetti and Whale adds Coin rain.
Diamond & your bot
4What is Holder Park?
The park across the road from Tuko Plaza. Every coloured bot there belongs to a real holder wallet, and the top 3 stand on the podium.
What happens when I log in as a holder?
You take over your own park bot right where it stands; no second bot appears. The camera glides to it, a beam lights it up, the pink diamond pops in and a "This is your bot" label shows before the controls are yours.
What does the diamond mean?
The owner has verified the holding wallet and claimed that bot. The pink diamond floats over the bot, sits next to its name in holder chat and shows on the Leaderboard. Everyone in the park sees a short sparkle the moment a bot is claimed.
How do I find my bot?
Open My Wallet and choose Find my bot. The camera flies to your bot and marks it with a pulsing ring, an arrow and a highlighted name tag. From a room or Mine Town, you're brought back to Holder Park first.
Super Computer
4What is the Super Computer?
The desk at the south end of Holder Park. Step onto the glowing floor marker in front of it and Press E to sit. A compact app hub opens with app icons, and each app runs inside the hub with a back arrow, so you never leave the game.
Which apps does it have?
Swap, a live Chart, Token info, a Blockscout lookup, a Bridge to Base and Stock Tokens.
How do Swap and Bridge work?
Swap quotes the best route on Base through the KyberSwap aggregator and runs in your own wallet. Bridge moves ETH to Base from Ethereum, Arbitrum or OP Mainnet with Relay. You see what you'll receive and the fees before anything is sent, and nothing moves until you confirm in your wallet.
Where do I get the token?
Sit at the Super Computer and open Swap, or open Token info from My Wallet.
Rooms & arcade
3Can I go inside the buildings?
Yes. Every building on Tuko Plaza is a walk-in room: Gas Cafe, Pixel Arcade, Playtuko HQ, Stock Exchange, Mint Station and Block Party. Walk through the door, roam the room, step onto the small glowing floor marker in front of anything you can use and Press E to sit, order, play or read. The doormat takes you back outside.
What is in the Pixel Arcade?
Seven skill games: Bot Stack (drop floors to build the tallest tower), Candle Climber (jump up the green candles, the red ones give way), Rug Dodge (run the city street and dodge cars, Gigape and Solasaur), Whale Catch (catch the whale's coins, dodge rug bombs, streaks multiply your score), Sky Gap (fly between the towers), Bot Train (eat coins and grow longer) and Golden Run, the gold cabinet for holders that pays double tickets. Every run pays arcade tickets from its score. The Ticket Booth shows your tickets and best scores, and the board by the door lists today's top runs.
Can I trade stocks in the Stock Exchange?
Yes. Walk to the Buy or Sell counter to trade tokenized stocks on Base, such as NVIDIA, Apple and Tesla, with ETH or USDC from your own wallet. You see a quote, the slippage and the network fee before you confirm, and a Blockscout link once it lands. Tokenized stocks are not available in the US and some other regions, so check eligibility first.
Mine Town
2What is Mine Town?
A side trip for fun. Walk up to the bus at the stop on Main Street and press E to ride down to a lantern-lit cave where monster foremen keep robot workers digging.
How do I free the workers?
Find the sniper post on the ledge, press E to look through the scope, then click or tap to take the foremen down. Each one takes a few hits. Once they're all down, the workers cheer and walk free. Take the bus back to Tuko Plaza whenever you like.
Music & sky
3Is there music?
Yes. Tap Music in the tray, or the note button on a phone, to open the lofi player. It starts only when you press play, keeps going while you walk and remembers your volume and playlist. All music is original lofi made for Playtuko. 6 playlists, 2-3 tracks each.
How long is a day?
One full day lasts 30 minutes of daylight followed by 30 seconds of night, and everyone shares the same sky. At night the lamps, windows, headlights and fountain light up, and a small moon chip under the navbar counts down to sunrise.
Who can post in holder chat?
Anyone can read it, and verified holders can post. Messages are up to 120 characters, and links are blocked to keep the chat clean.
